Biography
Sarah has worked as a journalist since 1998, mostly freelance. Between 2000 and 2001 she worked on a women’s website, BEME.com, for IPC Media, writing content for all of the channels on health, travel, consumer, arts, culture and mind/body/soul.
After the website closed down Sarah began freelancing regularly for the Guardian’s Office Hours supplement (Monday’s G2) and writing health and lifestyle features for a number of women's glossy magazines including Glamour, Red, Real, Brand New You, Spirit and Destiny, Women's Health and the Mirror's former weekend supplement, M.

Sarah offers great versatility as a freelance journalist – whether it's compiling a quirky dating/relationship column or producing a well-researched medical book about Irritable Bowel Syndrome!
Travel is her passion and her travel features have been published in a diversity of titles from the Guardian's online travel section to Spirit and Destiny magazine. As well as general destination pieces, many of her travel features have a healthy angle (spa/treatment reviews, yoga holidays, first person accounts of detoxing or personal growth and development holidays).
Sarah is a yoga enthusiast and in 2007 trained to become a Sivananda Yoga Teacher in India. She now teaches yoga classes in Brighton/Hove/London and abroad and writes features and books relating to yoga. Visit her yoga website www.karmiyoga.com for more information.
